After spending thousands of dollars on Allstate car insurance
for a vehicle I seldom drove, two friends recommended Sneed
Collectible auto insurance for my corvette. I had never heard
of it so I was skeptical, but gave it a try. After almost
a year with no problem with my Sneed policy, I suddenly had
an opportunity to purchase another from a private seller and
needed to close the sale and take delivery immediately or
lose the car to someone else. I contacted Sneed and spoke
with one of their Classic Car Insurance Specialist, Kara.
She was very polite and informed on what she needed to be
provided to add the additional car to our policy. I was able
to e mail the required documentation and she expedited the
information to underwriters for processing immediately. She
phoned as soon as the process was complete and faxed me temp
ins. cards so we could register the vehicle. While on line
at DMV following the transaction, I had left the scan able
ID cards at the seller's house. Using my cell phone in a panic
I left a voice mail at Sneed. I called again and spoke with
Linda, who handles all Classic Car Insurance Endorsements.
She told me not to worry and she would fax new cards to DMV
within 10 minutes. Linda called the following day to ensure
everything went OK and we registered the new vehicle to policy
specification to ensure it remained in force. Both Classic
Car Insurance ladies could not have been more pleasant, professional
and accommodating every time we spoke. Their efforts will
ensure WE RECOMMEND our friends to Sneed for more reasons
than a competitive premium, but exceptional service with a
wonderful demeanor. Please thank them again for us.
What an outstanding company! Last year was a bad year for
my '40 Pontiac. At the NSRA Street Rod Nat'ls. In Louisville
someone's canopy flew across the top of my car. It scratched
and dented the top and tore off the radio antenna. I went
into the vendor building to Sneed's booth and talked to a
very nice lady, Lillian Gore and told her what had happened.
She in turn sent a man with me to take pictures of the damage.
I got an estimate the next week and mailed it to Sneed Insurance.
The following week I had a check. End of Story? No! In October,
my wife and I were heading to Mississippi to the Cruisin'
The Coast event. Just out of Paducah, KY. We stopped for gas.
When I finished filling up I backed down away from the pumps.
The next thing I know a pickup slams into the front passenger
door of my car! After I calmed my wife and made sure she wasn't
hurt, I got out to check the damage. That's when I noticed
there was no driver in the truck. It seems he left it running,
out of gear with no brakes on to go in the store to get cigarettes.
After all the paperwork was finished we got the door closed
and locked. We used duct tape on the window and door to keep
the air and water out. We continued our trip and still had
a great time. Upon returning home to Evansville, Indiana ten
days later, I called Sneed Insurance and told them what happened.
This was on a Monday. On Wednesday an adjuster from Indianapolis
was at my house. On the next Tuesday I had a check and a letter
stating if I need more money to call Sneed. They even told
me where I might find a door. My street rod is fixed and back
on the road. I am currently building a '37 Ford sedan and
I can assure you it will be insured with Sneed Insurance.
What a wonderful group of people with excellent, excellent
service. We started using Sneed in 1996 and had no idea how
important the "unlimited mileage" option would become. Our
travels only averaged 6,000 miles a year. However in 2001
we attended the L.A. Roadster Show in California, and on the
way home we decided on a different route through Wyoming,
Nebraska, and Kansas. The beauty of our country is astounding.
Without the unlimited mileage provided by Sneed Street Rod
Insurance all of our "Fun Travels" would have been impossible.
Thank you Sneed for the 84,000 wonderful miles. We have smiled
every mile, as it was one of the greatest adventures of a
lifetime we could have endeavored. Kara I signed the changes
and then signed at bottom of document,,,, can I get pictures
to you on Monday for interior and engine compartment,, it
just gets too dark by the time I get home and I don't think
they will come out too clear (I have black interior). Your
staff is great and looking forward to renewing my policy every
